Technics SL-1700 MK1 Can't lower 45 RPM speed.

Picked up a Technics SL-1700 MK1. Cleaned up. Plays 33 speed fine, can fine tune with trim pot. Not so with the 45 RPM. Turn pitch & trim pot all the way down and it still drifts. Suggestions?

There’s a speed adjuster under the platter. Small screw driver needed to get into the hole

Yes, the trim pot. De-oxed both. On 45 can't get to a lower speed.
