Technics sl-d2 hinge repair - cutting plastic

I am preparing to repair my second SL-D2 turntable cover hinge (both are broken off).
What Dremel accessory works best to cut away the broken bits to create a smooth surface for the new hinges?

I use a small Japanese style pull saw. It is really flexible and very fine toothed.

I finished repairing my SL-D2 hinge. It works better than my other SL-D2 which is OEM.
I ended up using an aluminum hinge coupled with a 3D printed "washer" of the same size to strengthen the screw holes and minimize stress on the dust cover.
This was a very satisfying improvement over the OEM hinge. Maybe some day I'll paint the parts black, but my wife kind of likes the "pink" washer!

If anyone wants to make their own washers, the size is 2inches by 0.75 inches with two 0.18 inch holes 5/16 inch in on each side.

I used a cheap Xaxto Saw, and (carefully) a fingernail file. Came out nice a smooth.

I used a hack saw and a metal file. Kept it as clean as I could but I’m pretty ham fisted with tools.
