The Fisher KX-200 vintage

Can anyone offer their opinion on these amps? good quality?
Thinking of getting one but not sure the 600$ price tag is worth it??
Any insight would help

Yes! They are excellent. There is quite a bit of information about them right here on AK. Use the (Google) search function above. The KX-200 is essentially the same amplifier as the highly regarded Fisher 500 receiver. My very first piece of real stereo equipment was a KX-200 that I built from a kit back in 1967. I still have it but it is now in need of being rebuilt with new capacitors and an upgrade to the power supply. You will find several discussions about all that as you search around and read the old threads.

yes buy it. I have X-100-B and X-100-3 integ. amps.
"K" denotes kit.
"Fisher" forum on AK has all the info you will need to refurb, rebiuld or restore
just about any Fisher product. Many ecperts there.
