The Good Morning (Your First Logon for the Day) Thread

Hope you are swell this morning, people stopped saying that a long time ago. Yea, that's why I said it. Language is always has a generational influence. How that comes about as accepted way speak, well that's a tough one but if nobody stops it I imagine it will continue on like that till the end time. Hope somebody doesn't get tire of the whole and the human race revert to grunts and gestures to communicate. Maybe that's the way AI wants it.

Weather looks variable for Wyoming this next week with highs from the low 70s to the low 80's with a chance of rain almost every day. Guess I picked a good time to quit watering my lawn.

Feeling ok today so far from my shingles attack, was exhausted the last two days , hopefully I can get back to being myself soon, but been full of energy with joy in my heart for the new day, now I'm just to have the experience. As you know, I wish all that happiness possible each and every day of your life. hope you all find a four leaf clover. Regards, john
 
Good Morning,

Days are starting out in the high 40's, brrrr. But they're warming up nicely, should be 78 today and tomorrow.

Fair season is over. All guests are gone. Today is my first day alone and back to my routine in over 2 weeks. No place to go, no reason to leave the house.

I'm thinking I should start draining the hot tub and store it away for the winter. It's always a touch sad to admit that the warm weather is over.

The lawn is going to need mowing in a few days.
Got some more laundry to do.
But for now I'm just enjoying my second cup of coffee and relaxing.

I was browsing thru Brimfield last week, great weather all 4 days we attended.
Record prices are down and selection is all picked over, except for the heavily curated collections.
CD prices are all up....they used to be $1 each. Now they're generally 3 to 5.

Tonight is taco night.

Mornin’ Friends from Santa Cruz, Ca. It’s been a long time since I’ve woken up to young sea lions barking for their breakfast. Perfect. It’s hard to explain, but the Central Coast vibe feels like home even though I’m from Santa Barbara and moved to La La Land 60 years ago. It’s a thing. I’m ready to move back as soon as I arrive. Howdy from the wilds of Wyoming , where the women are wilder even more than the weather and that's saying something! Too on my mind to sleep last night, so I'm running on empty right now. With rain possibly in the forecast for till Sunday night , couldn't come a better time.

Hope life gives you what you need in this time of year with the change of the seasons. I'm lucky as I've been satisfied with that, getting what I want once in a while a bonus , Maybe that's why I've always been happy in my life.

Good morning! Broken overcast and 81F for the walk, predicted to drop steadily during the day, with 100% chance of rain in the early afternoon, just when I have a dental appointment. Flash flood watch all day. Looks like the Mustang will get wet for first time in a long time. Need to ask the dentist about appliances for apnea. Webinar on color in cinema at noon; not much else going on.

Good morning! Rain yesterday started here at 5 pm, things were still wet for the walk. Mid 70s and clear except for some high clouds to the west. Only small chances of rain today. Before I got up I heard heavy equipment scraping pavement. Apparently more sand flowed out of the utility road onto the street and they were cleaning it up. Looks like it will happen again, as they did nothing to restore the swale they dug several years ago to divert the flow to the nearby wash.

Today online: Art Trivia Happy Hour; lecture on the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers.

TMI: The dental hygienist canceled cleaning yesterday because they had a diagnosis on my chart that I believe is a mistake (endocarditis). They then sent a Medical release form to my cardiologist, but while waiting for that to go through I have been calling all my doctors that I have seen in the past year to verify what's on my charts with them. So far I have verified no such chart entry with all of them except the cardiologists office, who will pass my request to the doctor and get back to me.
This afternoon: follow-up visit with the sleep specialist for a second CPAP mask fitting. I will also check with them to see if the heart diagnosis is in my chart there.
