Good morning. It’s 58°F going to the mid-70s. Looks to be a gorgeous day.
I’m heading out for my usual 6.66 mile run that I do on Saturdays.
After that I have some chores at the other house. All the stuff that had to be done for sale is done (waiting for a contractor to finish a sidewalk thing) and now we have dived deep into the cosmetics. It seems the no one wants to buy a place a do upgrades or cosmetic things themselves. I had all the hardwood floors redone but left carpet in two of the bedrooms as the carpet looks like new. Now I am told that the style is out of date and it should be removed so two more floors to refinish. This pisses me off. I had a friend who bought a house and she didn’t like the color and style of the bathrooms. They had been completely upgraded before the sale and she had them gutted and done the way she wanted it. I find that such a waste of time and materials. I wanted to simply sell “as is” and price it that way but got pushback.

Good mornin', 56°F/13° C, overcast, not very rainy and not very windy...that nor'easter certainly sputtered out overnight. Ground is wet, but even street is drying out. Not even leaves blown down in back yard! Well, two more days to go, hope Mother Nature can do better than this...maybe @BillyTheKid and @SuperjazzyJa caught the brunt of it. Keep safe guys

Yes, there still is the rest of the weekend. Thanx for your concern. It means a lot.
I have to make a trip out which will be as brief as possible. Other than that, staying indoors.

@Bill Ashton and @SuperjazzyJa , give it time. Right now it's mostly stalled down here off the coast of the mid-Atlantic, and we're getting drenched. In fact they called off a big open air concert in Ocean City, MD because of the high winds, rain, and surf. Plus the full moon is giving us astronomically higher tides.

It’s currently 69*, partly cloudy with a high of 83* for today. Coffee and Haydn so far this morning. Gotta plan dinner (defrost something). Going to wash the bus next. Have a great day!

TMI: I got my tentative soonest surgery date of 11/3 yesterday. Just need a consultation with the general surgeon, hoping for hernia repair while she’s at it. Since my cardiologist fired me for lack of medical necessity years ago I just need a clearance from my PCP and I’m set. Haydn is done, time to go.

Yesterday I caught up on a couple of Zoom lectures that fortunately were recirded.
Today: working on Halloween graphic; early televison zoom this evening.

TMI: IBS acting up a little this morning. CPAP showed 9.3 apnea incidents per hour last night, not conducive to getting rid of it if it's not consistenly low. We shall see, but I was hoping for about 2 per hour.

Good morning, y'all! We have 82 and clouding up this afternoon. Got busy earlier, could not post. I'm going back to sanding the chairs this afternoon. No other activities are scheduled. I'l probably take a walk a little later. Sonny the dog is coming to spend the week with us while our granddaughter gives up her apartment and moves in with her boyfriend. It'll save them both a boatload of money. Have an awesome Saturday, everyone!

Good morning. It’s 45°F going to 65. A cooler day. Nothing on the agenda today. I did get my ‘59 Volvo out drove it on some errands yesterday. I’ll take it to the gas station today.
One thing I did yesterday was stopping by our record store. I joined their “loyalty” program, free, and until the end of the month, all Ls in the bargain bins at only a $1. I picked up 9 albums and will be going back for more. I got 2 Janis Ian, and the rest were mostly Bob James with John Klemmer one I’ve been looking for.

Good morning folks 46 F and sunny, going up to 68 F.
Well we're back from our Bosnia and Herzegovina trip.. it was excellent.
Just a heads up, they don't serve croissants in coffee shops they're only serve variations of baklava.
Bakeries have them but no coffee.
Anyhow, laundry is going full tilt and some yard work is required.

Good morning all! Still cool, overcast, and drizzly. This weather should clear up by tomorrow.
We're hosting football this week. It will be a dinner since the game doesn't start until after 4 PM. Nothing fancy, chili mac, caesar salad and Texas toast. And of course plenty of beer and wine.

Morning all. 56°F/13°C and rain! Yesterday here was mostly misty light rain with occasional wind. Real rain as such started about 9:30 last night, less than an inch when I was up at 7 AM. Went to get a coffee (in kitchen) about 8 and it was really raining. Right now its really, really raining! Trees waving a little, not bad, rain coming straight down.

Good morning, y'all! We have 79 and cloudy here today, with some sunshine this afternoon. After coffee and breakfast, we're headed over to our friends' place to water their plants and blow the leaves off their backyard. They're in Springfield, IL for a reunion of Army vets from the same unit in Vietnam. They'll be back on Tuesday. Other than that, it's football day. Fly Eagles Fly!
