The Rolling Stones
Necrophilia: 1964-1968
(VGP 317, 2002)

** It's comprised of partially BI-era material **

A little more "thoughtful" than I like but you can't beat the venue and the outfits -

edit - I noticed that when youtube takes down a video they replace the old page title with the plain title "YouTube". We've already lost one on page 5. These are basically dead links - and if they're mine I either replace them or delete them.

Group featuring Mick Ronson @ 1965

Bowie definitely picked the right guitar player - excellent garage riffing here -

After the show somebody said "Hey guys, let's try out some of this pot ..."

And the rest is history.

Rolling Stones = England's Newest Hit Makers

This is the earliest true 1st US issue, all US 1st presses have jackets made in the US but the record was supplied by Decca UK. This label version was actually issued before the US jacket w/ the blurb for the photo insert was put on the cover

This is the only one I have ever seen with a 1A/2A matrix. The poster cover version is usually 1A/3A or the labels are changed to the more modern London label (non-ffrr). The above predates the poster insert so there is not many of this original issue, very few in fact
