Picked up eight slabs today ,I was happy to find this one. Been keeping an eye out for Oscar Pettiford LPs.Nice list of players: jerome Richardson, Benny Golson, Gigi Gryce, Sahib Shihab, Art Farmer, Ray Copeland,Julius Watkins, Al Grey, Dick Katz, & Gus Johnson.

Friends,
This is my haul from this summer. The first shot is of the 10” records I found in different shops around town. I’ve gotten a bug about picking these up when I see them.
The second shot is of a couple of CDs that I got at Sister Rays and Fopp in Central London. The nice thing is that these are records I don’t have and CDs will allow me plug them into the collection without breaking the bank.
The final three are all LPs with some Japanese Vinyl, Originals, and some reissues. The only one sealed is the Pablo Michel Legrand. I only got to Spitalfield’s record Expo once and picked up a couple of LPs. I did go to the Spring Record Expo in the Victoria Halls. That was fun. I got the LA4 Infante LP finally. I saw a MINT Joe Gordon Contemporary release “Lookin’ Good”(?), but at £130 (~$170US), I couldn’t fork out the dough. As always some of the best scores came from shops not in Soho or Hackney. That’s not to say I didn’t buy anything when in Soho, I just had better luck finding my wanted LPs in the hinterlands at some of more serious and less touristy shops. I make no excuse for reissues on some of these as the originals are “unobtainium”

I have run one batch of LPs through the USC and will continue to do more over the next few days. Thanks for allowing me to share. I'm happy to point anyone heading to London to the stores I think worth visiting for used jazz vinyl. Not that I’m an expert by any stretch of the imagination.
