Tom Brady

Y'know what is really sad?? This guy Tom has every accolade imaginable, deservedly so, for playing a violent ground acquisition game.

Quick - can ANYONE name 3 of the scientists tasked with building the James Webb telescope?

How about people like my brother in law, working feverishly studying bacteria, hoping to thwart the next virulent strain from mopping the floor with humanity?

Well, don't feel bad. I can't, either.

I predict football will soon dry on the vine. The data on CTE, and especially with that Tua guy of late, has damned the junior leagues around here. Parents won't allow their kids to play.

Ah, okay. What's her name again? I forgot.

Seriously, I see it as an upgrade in status, Mrs. Brady, Tom Brady's wife. I'm not into football and have no regard for the NFL and certainly know nothing of the world of modeling and fashion but I don't believe I could readily find three people that know her name but everyone knows the name Tom Brady, even if they don't who he is. That's just my take on it from way back in the stands.

She's supposed to be Mrs. Tom Brady. It isn't like she does her own laundry, and the things involved with children. If she does, it is only because she wants to.
She married a football player. Deal, lady. Ain't like he's gonna play forever.
Still, I'm on the outside, looking in.
 
As I said in the thread about the guy who's wife demanded he sell a pair of speakers-

Friends don't demand/order friends to do anything.

If you have chosen to marry a woman who is not your friend, then you have much larger problems than a pair of speakers or whether or not you play a sport.


I have been a Buccaneers fan since they wore orange.
It's about time we got a good quarterback.
The Bucs have a knack for making good quarterbacks look way worse than they are if playing elsewhere.
Hopefully TB the team doesn't do that to TB the QB.
I'd like to see him get at least one more SB so folks can't say it was a fluke on his way out the door to the HOF as an NE Patriot.

Tom seems like the kind of person who is driven to succeed in almost a motivational speaker kind of way, but in practice, not theory.
I believe he will continue to play as long as he thinks he has a chance to win, be that his own abilities or that of his teammates and/or management.

Think maybe Mahones and possibly Burrow if he gets a O-Line
 
Mahomes has a chance for sure.
That guy does wonders with only 3 or so impact offensive players.

TB OTOH has a ridiculous plethora of talent to work with right now.
It's embarrassing to have so much and not produce at 3x the level they currently achieve.
