Tom Brady

Because that's suspicious (*cough, cough* Albert Pujols!).

Or, exceptionable. Great ones do come along once in a while. Must admit, don't know of Albert, are his stats in question? Had to look him up. At 42 he is/was still a kid, at this age everyone looks like a kid. At 42 I was still a kid.

He's undoubtedly a Great One. However, he is performing at a very high level for such an advanced age (42 is old in any major league sport). Last guy to do this in MLB was a chap named Barry Bonds. Ring a bell?

Not saying this is the case with Brady ... although he has proven he's not averse to bending the rules a little.

Steroid Barry plus Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa. They should all be stripped of any records they set.

Arguably the best QB in the history of the game, at the top of the hill, taking heat. In my opinion he ought to be celebrated for his performance under fire. Audie Murphy probably had a few life issues too but he did what he did, God Bless him. Tom, salute, play the game, win another one.

Yes, really.

Also, tell me you believe that after a Jets player caught an interception he noted that the ball felt different. Right, he detected a 0.2 psi difference. I doubt it.
Well, I've caught a football or two in my time, and I'll tell you the less they're inflated, the pointier the ends seem when they're poking you in the gut.

I don't care for calls like that.

We'll never know if the punt would have pinned the falcons back, if the Buc's defense would have held, or if Atlanta would have aired one out for the win.

The talk on the (non-sports) radio this morning was that it could have been on account of the Tua thing last week.

I'm not sure I buy that, though as they replayed at least three similar sacks from the same game that weren't called for RTP.

There were also two late call/no call holdings that added to the inconsistacy.

IIRC that was Mike Cary, the ref. Back about 15-20 years ago, you couldn't get a call from him that was favorable to the Bucs.

I predict football will soon dry on the vine. The data on CTE, and especially with that Tua guy of late, has damned the junior leagues around here. Parents won't allow their kids to play
Then maybe the men's soccer team can make a decent showing in the World Cup.

But football isn't going anywhere for a while. Guess we need our gladiatorial type games.
