A lot of self inflicted wounds in his life, but still a bad way to go.

I saw Tommy box in a match in Springfield when he was about 10 or so. He was boxing my roommates son who was 9. It was Keiths first match. Could you imagine having your first boxing match and it being against Tommy Morrison? Anyway, Tommy won, but Keith held his own. We all know how Tommy's career went. Keith went on to become the National Silver Mittens Champion twice and quit boxing with over 250 fights, losing only about 20 fights.

Jay Ok is only about 30 miles from where I live and Aurora MO is about 40 miles. I hadn't heard anything about Morrison for many years and it doesn't surprise me to hear how his life turned out. He seemed pretty much out of control. It is sad to read how the final years turned out. Hopefully TM is at peace.
