Some nerd Land Cruiser stuff
An Etsy seller 3D printed some T3Q/TEQ emblems a dozen years ago and I bought one... it's pictured on the right below:
It began delaminating over the years and now the same seller makes aluminum versions with paint options. My truck's exterior is black w/grey grey/wblack etc. so I got splash of red.

My 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 250. So far, so good. If the reliability is anywhere near my last Tacoma, I will be happy. The hybrid power train is so far, very enjoyable, more from performance perspective than fuel mileage, although averaging around 20 mpg isn’t bad either. I didn’t buy it for economy anyway.
I had a ‘74 Hilux many many years ago, and it was fun to drive, but someone hit me and totaled it. Kind of been looking for one since. Was going to do an engine swap.
Recently I picked up this 1975 Hilux. 5 speed manual, 20r, front disc brakes, and 8” rear end with 4.37 gears. My wife hates the color and calls it green bean. Someday it may be white or yellow.
I bought, and will soon install, a Hedman Header/hedder, Weber carb, and Cherry Bomb glass pack.
I already replaced the steering wheel, side mirrors, and a few other things.
New rims and tires soon.

Nice. I'd pass on the Cherry Bomb but everything else, good. Very nice.
It will bolt on in place of the muffler, so I can always switch back.

A couple of months ago I found this beauty with only 48,600, I call it my stolen car! I found it at a Scottsdale Ford Dealer I was the first person to see it, the moment I saw it I knew it was coming home. It is in pristine condition, one owner, no accidents.
It's a 2017 Camry XSE V6 in gorgeous Blizzard Pearl, gray leather, sport suspension, paddle shifters, sunroof, JBL with 11 speakers, CD player, blind spot, tinted, all LED lighting. The former owner had installed some excellent Michelin Cross Climate tires in '24, they sell for $250 each also has a brand new full size 18" spare never used. The front end, hood, mirrors, rockers are all PPF and the paint was treated with Ceramic Coating. This car really takes off love the motor/trans. . . . my play car is a 2018 Hemi Challenger. The Camry is my commuter car. It just fell in my lap!
I drove a new '23 Camry and disliked it immensely and decided to keep my excellent V6 Sonata for nearly three years longer until I found this . . . no noisy pokey 4 cylinder, no CVT, no stop start, no lane guidance, no monstrous computer screen on the dashboard and all the other b.s.
I'm a thief!

They should've stuck with the V8. I don't put much mileage on it, but my 2018 Tundra is still motoring along.

Now that they offer the Pro-4x with a long bed, it's between the Tacoma and Frontier for my next truck.
I overspent on some reconditioned Land Cruiser OEM alloys, my original LX rims had seen better days after 30 years. These are very sparkly.

Love/Hate relationship with Toyota.
Graduated college in 1984 and got a shiny blue SR5 4x4 pickup -loved that truck for 10 years until it was stolen while at work. I took care of it and it took care of me.
Got a 1995 SR5 4x4 as an insurance settlement and it was a tumultuous relationship with multiple headaches, failures, engine blown, failed parts.
I donated it after a valve failure to my local jazz station.

Over-inflated is likely better than under-inflated MPG-wise, but still not ideal for even tire wear or safety. Check out the sidewall info on your tires, maybe that’s what is ideal for that tire. If not, slowly bleed out the extra psi.
TPMS that is now fairly ubiquitous but no so common in 2003, is that what alerted you?
