Tuners?

My current tuner collection:

Magnum Dynalab MD-108
McIntosh MR85
Magnum Dynalab DT-5
Rotel RT-1080
Sony SA50ES

Hmmm.... reaching back into the closet and back of the bench... Receivers not listed.

Revox A700 tuner/preamp. Nixie-tube digital read-out.
Revox B760 Led Digital
Revox A76 Plain Jane, but very effective
Dynaco FM-5 with the "factory" dolby mod. I got it at the factory when Dyna went under. I am not sure it ever was sold that way.
Dynaco FM-3 (2)
Scott LT-110
Soundcraftsmen... it is at our summer house, so I cannot verify the number, but "Made in USA" with the blue LED display and very thin.

Only the Soundcraftsmen is AM/FM, hence its being relegated to the summer house.

I do keep a small FM-stereo transmitter to make the tuners play what I want in every room of the house rather than having to rely on OTA stuff.

That Soundcraftsmen tuner was actaully made by Scott, which had a very similar looking tuner. Both were excellent for fully digital tuners, especially in their price range.

Let's see...

Mitsubishi DA F20
Yamaha 810
Yamaha 800
Yamaha 610 II
Yamaha 930
Dynaco FM3
Nakamichi 630 Tuner/Preamp on the way!

Only have my MR-78 (for almost 24 Years!)

:music:

I found my McIntosh MR-78 used in Dec 1985, and it's been running like a Champ- not even a bulb has gone out! I've had people come over, saying CD sounds great; I then tell them, no, that's my FM tuner. I am pretty lucky here in Portland- we have some good stations- I use only a Radio Shack powered antenna, but would like to get a better indoor unit of some sort- any suggestions?

I have the following:

McIntosh MR78/ MPI 4
Kenwood KT 8300
Marantz 2110
Sansui TU 9900

The Rotor antenna goes up tomorrow! I have been dreaming of this for many years. I finally got a house and antenna, almost 30 years after I bought my TU 9900. Better late than never I say.

Recently I obtained, on extended loan from my tech, a solid state Kenwood 600-T in mint condition.

Currently, my collection includes:

Fisher FM-1000 (tube)
Fisher TFM-300 (hybrid tube/solid state)
McIntosh MR67 (tube)
2 McIntosh MR65Bs (tube)
McIntosh MR7082 (solid state)
Pioneer TX-130 (solid state)
Pioneer TX-410 (solid state)

The count is down a bit after shipping some Tandberg 3001's or 3011's back to their various owners and selling off a 3031A, but still higher than is probably reasonable:

Sony ST-730ES
Sony ST-550ES
Sansui AU-717
Tandbergs: 3011A + 2nd one inbound, 3001A, 3001 x4 (will be x2 shortly)

Would be higher but I'm still holding out against bringing any tube gear home - afraid what is currently an out of control hobby could turn into a pandemic :D

Needless to say though, I've been having a lot of fun with the Sencore SG165 I picked up a few months ago

tooners

Nikko Gamma 1
Onkyo T-15
Nikko NT-890

Just the Gamma is being used today but I like that the NT-890 has a good clean AM capture. It needs a good home. Come to new england fall fest and you may see it.
