Turntable advise

Ortofon fan here! And I run a 2M blue on one of my tables,,,sweet cart, but Ortofon's are detailed - not a romantic sound.
And the 2M series is heavier than most carts of your tables era, may require a new/heavier counter weight.
Just thought I would mention it, but they also make some nice ones with the older style/lighter bodies
 
I also have the Ortofon 2m blue on my pioneer PL 514 and it sounds great, I have a question has anyone ever watch there cartridge an tone arm playing up close and see it swaying back and forth a very tiny bit on some record's is that normal then most seem to track straight. I've got everything set, anti skate, cartridge at 49mm and squared with a needle protractor, 1.5 on the needle . Like I said every thing sounds great? All input welcome .

Years ago my "first" turntable, Garrard GT-15, had a bad case of the stylus sways. It took awhile to stabilize that thing, but left unchecked and that stylus would sway badly to the left and start skipping the grooves. How I fixed this was to look closely at the owner's manual at the anti-skate instructions, and adjust the weight. It turned out that I needed the extra gram weight and force to keep the needle straight (this is going back 37 years!!). I also remember eventually ditching the cartridge for a Realistic brand, which was more liveable.

Is the difference worth the extra 200

Also I am wondering if pro-ject makes a tt that stops turning when the record is over. I do a lot of listening while cooking and that would be helpful.

I haven't seen any auto return in new turntables just vintage turntables and I have to have auto return. Thers some fully auto new turntables. Teac makes some really nice looking turntables but there just all manuals only, if they had made an auto return I would have bought it..
 
Well I now have 3 turntables and 5 cartridges mounted in head shells 1 moving coil and 4 mm it's kinda nice to swap out different cartridges for different sound, though I wish I had another pioneer PL turntables instead of the Realstic and Scott turntable because the pioneer cartridges are set to 49mm, Realstic at 50mm, and Scott at 52mm. After playing all of them with my cartridges I think the best is my pioneer PL 514 seems there built very solidly that's why I will always be looking for another pioneer favorably a 518 direct drive then I can swap head shells and they will all be set at 49mm.
 
Pics???? I have a total of 3 tables myself: My original "first" table (which is not running), and my two vintage models I purchased this year on my re-entry to the hobby.
