Sure do. I have seen these posted a few times. I never bothered checking them out because of the long drive.
I tell ya, this town has almost a deal every day that makes me drool.
I have some serious purging to do before I can buy more. :tears:

Ah yes... the BINGE-PURGE cycle. You know, after a while of getting rid of stuff it becomes easier. And, NOT buying something you normally would have also instills a good feeling.

Hi Bean, I think you're right about him being an AK'er. He and I have communicated before but the model he has isn't what I was looking for. There's only one other thing I could use speakerwise and that's a set of Empire 12" woofers (see picture). I've got everything else I really need, all other considerations are just wants.

I have never been to I.A., although I wanted to drop in on your last sale. Unfortunately, the piece I wanted seemed to have been sold just before the sale.
Maybe I'll drop in one day. :yes:

There's a bloke selling a Sherwood receiver and KLH speakers for a listed price of $75.

Anyone interested should, however, be aware that there is a "typo" in the ad's list price -- he's actually asking $175 -- and that the Sherwood receiver is actually rated at 26 WPC, not the 150W he quotes.
 
Hey Bean, you want to pick those up, flip the berylium tweeters and send out the woofers? You should get $125 at auction for them (I've done at least that several times).

oops, wait a minute. Those aren't the original woofers in there. If those tweeters are working and in good condition, it's still worth the effort.

I bought a couple of used Toshiba DVD players from your shop about a week ago. Good deal! Having said that there are some people on AK who think your used audio prices are a bit steep...but then I'm not really qualified to judge, as I haven't bought any yet!
