Vintage ADVENT "Large" SPEAKERS rebuilt Up Grated!!!

Lordy.

"The woofers has been reformed"

What?

"The tweeters are the original and in additional it has been improved to add a MID/HIGH cone driver to improve a Mid range frequency !!!"

Which frequency I wonder?

"The Result is... the Sound SOOOO Natural and Clear that almost impossible to get it from this size of the speaker enclosure!!!"

Size has nothing to do with it of course, except for the bass, which has nothing to do with your silly midrange cone.

"The cabinets has been refinished last year and make an additional a Vintage Looks to put Speakers on the top of Victorian Style the Stands."

Ah, I didn't know those horrific Walmart plant stand bases were "Victorian Style the Stands." I learn something new every day around here.

Those Allisons are ENCREDIBLE. Just L@@K!

Now I know I want them!! Oh wait...they're not up grated. Pass!

The grammar side of my brain is hurting right now. :D

those tweets look morelish!!

I've got an older version of the silkies in my mains. Mine are modded and sound quite like the Morels that cost twice as much from what I've been told. I haven't had the opportunity to listen to the Morels myself.

The speakers in the OP are a dumpster fire.

The Sound for these pieces will just BLOW YOUR MIND!!!

YOU WON'T SEE The same system ANYWHERE and ANYTIME...GUARANTEED!!! :rflmao:He's got that part right.

Can we seriously get a restraining order for this guy on behalf of all stereo equipment?
Please do!! Do it for all of humanity...or at least your AK compadres. ;)

I haven't seen any local CL speaker listings quite that bad (or loud :D ), but I've seen plenty with substituted drivers, and the owners thinking they are "better" and worth more money.

There was a guy around here that used to do his magic to speakers. He had Camber speakers that he replaced the crossover with a single capacitor. Fortunately, they had the original drivers. That was what I wanted. I wonder what happened to the original crossovers?
