Vintage Sony stereo system speaker advice needed

Hi. I just purchased a vintage Sony system without speakers and would like to know speakers I should purchase.

This is a Sony system with TA-AX390 amplifier, 5 disc CD player, turntable m, tuner and audiocassette deck. I would like the sound to carry around the first floor which is about 1,000 sf. I like a lot of bass. But I really don’t play anything ver loud. Mostly soft rock, and sometimes Michael Jackson, Prince, John Lennon. Sometimes Otis Redding, BB King, and lots of reggae.

It appears Sony recommends 8 ohm (or 16 ohm, which are rare) speakers for use with that amp.
As mentioned above, if you are considering used, you could ask about the brand and model here. If you wonder are they worth it or how much should you pay for a used set that would have to be asked in the Dollars and Sense forum.
As also mentioned, posting your general area would enable some AK members to take a look at your "local" FB Marketplace and/or CL and offer suggestions.
Some areas have lots of used speakers for sale, others not so much. Always best to listen before buying if possible. Speakers come in many sonic "flavors".
What I like you might not, and vice versa.
Since you like "a lot of bass" that might make some brands or models a better match than others.
