WALPOLE, MA - new location for the (air conditioned) New England SweatFest!!

W1jim has the final say on get-together matters, not me. I'm the workshop guy and a relative newcomer.

I'm hoping that even in Walpole we'll still get to see fcarpcarp and the other usual suspects. It would be fun to see Peter away from his lasers also, but then again I like to dream.

I might suggest that you edit the first post to state the new digs and time. You could even get a mod to edit the title.

I suggest that you PM Jim with a phone # and you two should best talk by phone for final checks. My experience working as a writer for 25 years is that text can be limited. I'll PM along my phone #.

Darn! I was thinking about attending this meet in conjunction with a visit with my best friend who lives in southcentral MA but he's coming to PA that weekend. Perhaps next time.
 
This sounds like a great space; unfortunately I'll be traveling home from a business trip and unable to attend on the 13th. If the date happens to change, even by a day, I'll be there!

Whew, glad I decided to check in!

Sorry for the delay - I've been travelling a bit lately - Brazil (Indiana) and Lime Rock Park CT (teaching performance driving at the race track fun day).

I've changed the information in the original post and requested that the title of this thread be changed.

I'll be there. The issue was that Peter will be off at a family reunion and his space will not be available.

The new info on the first page say it'll be held until 3PM. Any reason for the early end time? I'm used to these things being held into the evening, so just wondering. :scratch2:
