Equally disturbing is that the "professional" writer used the word "everyday" instead of the proper words "every day".

If one does something as a career, shouldn't they at least do it well?

When I cut out the chips, Cokes, and ice cream some years ago, I gradually lost about 40 lbs, didn't do anything else different, and never gained it back.

Sadly this kinda reminds me of a buddy that's 53, just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Never saw him without a cigarette, used to dismiss it because his Grandma lived to 94 and smoked all her life...

If you make it to 84 there is really no point in worrying about what you eat.

I was going to say something like that. My Mom about two years before she died started wanting all sorts of food she never had through her life. Fast food, milkshakes, floats, candy.

I think it was She knew the end of her time was very close so She looked to cramming everything in.

Buffett also owns See's Candy, I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned. See's is kinda like Russell Stover would be if they hadn't gone huge and corporate.
