What are you drinking now?

Man my mouth is watering just looking at all these beer pictures.

I saw there was a thread on "Cannabis and Weight Loss". I wish there was one on "Beer and Weight Loss" so I wouldn't have to cut back on my beer consumption or buy all new clothes.

I do have a secret-

Warning- "regular beer" content ahead.

Despite the popularity of Michelob Ultra, advertised at 95 calories.....it's only 3.2%

Yuengling "Flight" is 96 calories.....but 4.2%.

That one cal nets you 25% more alcohol.

That's a win/win in my book.

Let's pack up that microbus and head to Black's Canyon down Sandy Eggo way. (grin) or Limestone on the Upper Kern downstream of Johnsondale.
Mc Nally’s! - Tricia’s folks had a cabin in Bodfish, spent a lot of time fishing The Killer Kern and Lake Izzy. We recently visited her folks in the Kernville Cemetery. According to the manager, There is a new water commissioner who actually does his job and has been filling Izzy. It’d be nice to see the fishing re-established, maybe even hit the old spots before the Devil wind blows us off the lake. Tired of seeing the old Kernville foundations in the shallows.

I endeavor to drink as few calories as possible, reserving those calories for beer, bourbon, tequila … and 2% milk.

Made a visit to the Torrey Pines Glider port near UC San Diego today. There's a deli on-site with sandwiches and draft beer.

Got an Alpine Brewing Duet IPA, sat on the upper deck and watched the paragliders on a nice afternoon.
I always try to visit Alpine Brewing when I'm in town. The wife and I lived there as High Schoolers in the early 80's.

Happy Saturday!

Took a drive up the coast to Pizza Port Brewing in Solana Beach.

Got a flight

Left to Right: Queen of the Coast, Coastin Tropical, Swami's, 135

Had to get a pizza and a full pour

Came home with a crowler of the 135 IPA - enjoying that now on an overcast afternoon.

Got excited by your picture, at first glance I thought it was from the OP. He’s been MIA for a bit. About your La Scalas, what vintage? Mine are c.’82 and the midrange horns are much bigger.
Mine are ‘76 vintage. These are stock. The crossovers have been recapped. And the diodes have been removed. The midrange level has been reduced (by the popular mod) to be more inline with the bass and treble.

I am the OP. I no longer have the email address associated with that account, and after sending email to the PTB, I just created a new account.

I thought the La Scalas and table looked familiar!

This is a bittersweet beer. Proclamation Ale, one of the best and most popular breweries in RI, closed their doors for good Sunday. They started as a one man operation in 2014 (with occasional help from friends) and after a year or so of successes and long lines for releases they expanded to a brand new and much bigger facility. Unfortunately the death of founder Dave Witham followed in short order by COVID and some legal issues with a minority owner lead to their untimely demise. I will miss them.
