The best Bock I've had in a good while is Anchor's- pours dark like a porter & very satisfying! The brewery I work for (Flying Dog- check out the website!) has a specialty smoked double bock- Dog Schwartz- that's very interesting, but not your usual bock!

I'm about to have a Steel Reserve. Complete rubbish at any temperature above almost freezing, not so bad for $1.60.. but only at near slushing temps in a frozen mug, drink quickly. A nice 8.1% of cheap "goodness"

I do also like really good scotch and beer, so it's an odd quirk.

I'm drinking coffee right now myself. Feel alittle ruff. A bunch of us were at the local VFW last night, taking shots from each of the bottles in our likker lockers. Rum, Vodka, bourbon, blend, you name it. Older folks can do some dumb stuff sometimes, trying to prove they still have it. Thank God a bus load of strippers didn't show up. Or some one may be starting the thread about AK member jimfet is no longer with us. There would have been a mass dying at the V.

I was going to post last night after I drank this... got sidetracked...

It had been in the freezer for an hour and as I took my first gulps, I thought to myself.. "My god, this stuff is swill"

But for $1.60 you can't complain... easier to drink 240oz of this garbage than 72oz of Budweiser at 4 times the cost, with less than half the buzz...
