The recent pic of Belgian ale and talk of Brussels made me want something Belgian. Luckily I have a few stashed in the back of the garage beer fridge....



We were having a Euro style meal of apple, onion and sausages so I'm having a nice strong blond from Duvel to pair. My wife has a Georgetown Dalton IPA with hers.

That's Belgians for you...a different glass for each brewery/beer.

The custom there is that each beer should be served in the correct glass. I have quite a few from various breweries visited around Belgium. Also a few from gift packs from Duty Free in airports and from Total Wines back home. Just itching to get back to Belgium and visit more breweries!!!

Which I have carried over to the bar I built in our basement…. They’re not all individually branded of course, but the main styles are represented….weizen, English pint, US pint, tulip, teardrop, even Scottish thistle glasses….
