The resistivity of copper oxide goes up a lot compared to that of clean copper, so much so that it can prevent a starter from turning over in a car and that's DC!!Logical... but in my opinion if you see the green/blue death on your cables, and under the insulation, then it's time for new cables. Copper oxide is both corrosive and conductive, and they mess with the signal to some degree- they need to go in my opinion...![]()
