What CD player are you using with Mac preamplifier and amp?

I use my MVP871 with Mc402 and C46. The sound is very good, I like the video section too. After 1 year of use, stopped working. I brought it to a repare shop here in Montreal and the guy change the drive.The repare took 1 weak, now is ok. The good thing with this MVP871 is that u have audio & video in one box.

Sony ES CDP-X303 CD player. Replaced a lightning-fried Toshiba many years ago. Thing is built like a tank and sounds just fine. No reason to replace it even after all these years.

I am also using a Classe CDP-10 with my C48 preamp and MC501 amps. It is used both as a transport through the DACs in the C48 and as a player. In addition, I am using a Denon DVD 3910 primarily for SACD and DVD-audio. I am also curious how large a step up the MCD500 would offer.

After several years of trying to get this thing going, I bought it in non working condition. I am extremely pleased with my Bluenote Stibbert MKI. The most analog player I have yet to hear.
