My first grandson.
Nothing but the owner of the Bar in our tiny 11 person community had a Christmas Dinner for the town. King Crab and Steak and we the community brought the side dishes. OMG what a feast with an "Open Bar". I'm not much of a meat eater but I will say that's the best steak I have had in 40 years.
My neighbor's cat on lap! That's enough!

Likewise I also got several pairs of socks and long-sleeve shirts (which I absolutely need).
The other thing I got is a plaid Drinkwear apparel coaster. Love it!

Eleven in my case, to be exact. And my mother was pretty amused, when she watched me: I open the first present - two pairs of socks. I open the next present - three pairs of socks. Next I spot a present bag with a fruit bread at the top, so I think: "Oh, a bag of sweet goodies - nice..." So I remove the fruit bread to examine the rest of the content - six more pairs of socks...
Granted, though, I was amused, too.

I didn`t wish for, but instead received from all you Northern Latitude folks 2 late evening/early mornings of unusually for this time of yr. here in NE/ FL. sub zero temperatures ! Thank you all for the heartfelt consideration of this long remembered gift !
Oh well, I know it was/is much colder where it came from for you suffering folks, and I try to return the favor next late spring/summer with unusually high temperatures to be sent back at you !

When one day merges into the next, it is hard to keep track of day of week and dates. Last night I was thinking today, Monday, is a workday. Then a though pop up maybe it is a holiday? I make a couple of calls. first one says he wasn't sure 
. The 2nd says it is . So here i am getting this free gift day off to goof off/ surfing the web

hmmm...a box of chocolate covered cherries carrying on a a tradition from my grandmother. a new stars and stripes for the flagpole (old one to disposed at the post office.) kids and grandkids at home and the best....a hecklefish offee cup!!
