Hello
I'm wondering what Marantz best vintage integrated was, they made so many.
If you have an opinions please share it.
Thanks in advance!

Best? You'll get opinions from people that all of them are best, I'm guessing. :) Really, I don't think that any of them are bad, so concentrate on your power needs, aesthetics and price point. Personally, I'm a separates kinda guy, myself -- especially for the Marantz stuff. Beautiful things.

I second Titanstats's sentiments. Certainly you get many varied opinions, but the final decision will be yours in what you like & can afford.

I personally like any of the integrateds with the model#s 1070 on up. They are fine amps indeed.

I love these threads. I get to show off my favorites... again. :D

The 1070 is very nice. I owned one for a while back in the late 70's...

I think it's around 35 watts per channel.

The top integrated amplifier from the silver marantz era was the Marantz 1300dc, its the most powerful, fully featured and probably the most scarce - doesn't mean its the best though. Depending on what you can afford and your music needs will point you in the right direction - my personal favourite is the 1122dc, i wish I never sold mine, very warm sound and 60 watts RMS per channel was more than enough to suit my needs. Enjoy the music!

People go crazy over the 1200 and 1200b too.... I never had one, but one look inside gives you an idea why people like them.

onepixel.....Great Picture.......

show us more please :D

Sorry... I've already hi-jacked this thread enough. :D

But I will say the 4140 is great sounding in both 2 (70 wpc) and 4 (25 wpc) channel. It's more precise than the receivers of comparable wpc. What I like about it besides the looks is that it's very versatile.

I had an 1150 that was amazing. I sold it a couple of years ago and have regretted it ever since. Used it with a pair of PSB B25's and it was a match made in heaven.

It might not be the best Marantz integrated, but I always had a secret crush on the PM-94:

Agree with you Satch....overall to me marantz amps are not that impressive in making music.:scratch2:

Loads of other brands have made better amps to my ears.

OK they are a treat to the eyes!

I would have to say that there are two "best" Marantz integrateds: at the lower power end the 1060 and at the higher power the 1200. I'm sure the 1300 is even better than the 1200 but there are so few of them available that for practical purposes they are unobtanium.
