What Marantz integrated is the best or favorite?

I would have to say that there are two "best" Marantz integrateds: at the lower power end the 1060 and at the higher power the 1200. I'm sure the 1300 is even better than the 1200 but there are so few of them available that for practical purposes they are unobtanium.

ditto. Always admired these two.

I had an 1150 that was amazing. I sold it a couple of years ago and have regretted it ever since. Used it with a pair of PSB B25's and it was a match made in heaven.

What was so amazing about it? It simply sound wonderful?

Had a 1150d in 1977 I bought while stationed on Okinowa.
I got a project 1150 a few years ago that I have recapped.
For whatever reason I've always preferred integrated amps
to receivers.

Dang. I've tried the 1060 twice, one was even fully gone through / recapped / Deoxited, etc. Didn't care for either one. Odd that a 2020b receiver I had was far more enjoyable to listen to than the 1060.

Different strokes and all that, I guess.

Here's another vote for the 1060.

Otherwise, I feeling more love for their current or recent offerings in their Reference Series (PM-11S2 Integrated Amplifier or their recent TOL Preamplifier and Monoblock Power Amplifiers)

I liked my 1060 so much I bought a second one to restore for my Son. :D I haven't found the 30wpc to be a problem. They usually spec out in the low 40's. I would love to stumble across a 1200 as well.

The future classic: Marantz PM15 of 1994. The PM1x series with the rounded corners have always been the most elegant Marantz by far to me.

Now I regret flipping my PM17.

Agree....Have "3" 1060's...this 1 is decked out...http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=568728

This fall I will be working on another 1060 and will be Replacing ALL the resistors with TAKMAN and my above thread with rest of High End parts.

It's also the 1250 that sounds Kick Ass: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=620560
