Anybody know what kind of speakers these are? No markings at all. guy wants $100 buck for them.

Welcome to AK, have no idea what they are but for that price, they look like a steal!

They appear to have Eminence woofers and Sound Dynamics-sourced horn-loaded tweeters. That's good! The mid is a mystery. Should be very efficient with good bass response. I don't like the tweeters straddling the mid design. It is sure to muddle the sound a bit. Cabinets look very well done.

I agree with Sealy on the Sound Dynamics tweeters. The cabinet looks like an Audiosphere Research. I believe they may have been made in the same factory along with a few other brands over the years.

there was another thread on here about those exact same speakers...i will find it and post it here. those are altec model 14 cabs (i think) and they have non altec drivers in them.

I thought of grabbing them but not until I sell few first. :yes:

If they are the same pair I saw last month, they were sold for $50 so may be you can bargain for $75.
