what the ???

Bummer, was hopeing to get them but somebody else snapped them up.

You just learned speaker 101. Don't ask question and post pictures of speakers that you are interested in on here. Go get them. At $ 100 just do it.
Welcom to the forum.

From my experience on CL, the most important part of closing the deal is to be the first one invited to come see them. Don't talk price until your face to face. Tell them in your first contact that you can meet at their earliest convenience, give them your phone number and tell them that you are not far away (distance is all relative). You've got to get your foot in the door when something special comes along, haggle later. Good hunting!

The reason I won't buy off of CL is the old, yea it's yours then a call back saying they got a better offer. CL is the worst place to deal IMO.

Those look very similar to the audiosphere research I have. I have a post on here with a pic of mine trying to find out the model number and specs. I replaced my mids and tweeters with horns, carpeted the cabs and use them for mobile DJ use, I left the original woofers in, they are 15's with the accordian surround. The highest rated power I've seen on a 15 audiosphere was 160 watts. I play mine on a QSC QX5 500 watts/ch and they handle that just fine.

They look like the sound they'll produce will be... detailed.
Whether that's good or bad depends on how you like your treble, I'd speculate.
