Whats a fair price for a pioneer SX-1250?

I found a SX-1250 locally. Whats a fair price for a one owner real nice condition unit? Would $600 be high? Thanks

$600 is good. They have been steadily increasing in value and some crossing the $1k line. Keep in mind it will be due for a restore, but once complete you will be happy for years to come.

May be cheaper were you are.they seem to average$900 to $1200 from what I've seen here-westy coast.Not what I paid for mine, but craig'slist.

I think $600 is a reasonable price. Not cheap and not ridiculous either. If that's what you are happy to pay, go with it. Any more is getting stupid in my opinion, especially if you have to put work into it.

$600 is fair if it is in decent shape, just budget another couple hundred bucks for the pretty much "mandatory" restoration. They are highly desired/collected units, and nice specimens regularly break the $1K mark.

thanks guys, I offered him $600 and he said he would take $700. I told him I need to look at it in person to see if I want to pay that. I'm going to see it today
