What's your latest audio purchase?

Pioneer SP-C21 center channel speaker to go with my SP-BS41-LR bookshelf speakers.

I'm now thinking whether I should get the NHT Classic Three bookself speakers while they're 25% off. They'll be for my 2 channel system.
 
Yagin ms-20l plus a tube roll to electro harmonix and Westinghouse power and pre tubes respectively.

P.S. an XDA-2 is a DAC/digital preamp from Emotiva
 
Haven't bought much lately, but recently added some Infinity Reference 1 speakers (used). And some Monitor Audio M2 speakers (new). Have wanted some MA's for a while.

The only reason I bought the Infinities was because they kind of found me, I didn't find them. I parted the Ref 1's out after listening.

The MA's will be around for a long time based on what I am hearing.

Next purchase I am considering is one of those new fangled Qinpu tube amps from China. Man I love this hobby.

Actually, it was a typo. My newest purchase is an XPA-2 which is a 2-channel amp that's 250wpc @8 ohm and 500wpc @ 4 ohm. Today I will order a set of Magnepan MMG's to try out the quasi-ribbon sound with the amp. Looking forward to hearing them play together :banana:
 
I bought a Yamaha PC 2002. It´s old but seriously well-built and has a lot of power (240 wpc 8ohm). Most of important of all they make my Tannoys sing.

Recent purchases were a Dynaudio Audience 122c to match up with my 82s and 42s and I retubed my VAC CLA1 MKII Pre Amp with what VAC uses today in their new gear. The owner of VAC, Kevin Hayes, spent a good half hour talking to me about tubes and VAC gear from a cold call. I did not know I was talking to the owner til I was googling some VAC info.
 
I recently purchased an AT440MLa cart. It sounds great. On the way is an SAS stylus from Jico for my Shure M97xE.
Can't wait to see which sounds better.
Pushing almost $400.00 between the two of them, but hey ... it's only money.:no::sadwave::wtf:
 
latest thats sitting here in my hands is a generic Shure N91ED stylus. Sounds good.
latest thats paid for is a Garrard Lab 80 MK2, currently in transit
latest thats arranged for is a Dynaco PAS2 project, check going out in the mail tomorrow.
 
The "Analog Disk" record weight from Harmonic Resolution Systems. I am impressed with the improvement in sound it makes. Perhaps an expensive version of a hockey puck, but as ponderwilu says "it's only money".
 
A nice Revox A77 MK IV. I have wanted another one since my original 1971 Revox A77 was damaged beyond repair in 1987.
 
Got a source selection switch last night so I can run my mains with both my stereo and HT amps :D. No more HTIB sattelites for TV/Xbox!
 
Seems I've been on a bit of a roll lately, by choice and by chance.


Pair of JBL LSR2325P powered monitors for my office - These things sound really good and are something of a departure from the "JBL sound" - I really like them!

Apogee Duet - Nifty DAC/ADC which elevates computer sound to a new level - I had been using lesser recording interfaces as DACs, and was somewhat skeptical of the differences between them. Bits is bits, right? Well, I'm a believer now. This thing sounds amazing.

Pair of JBL Control 5 monitors from a friend, decomissioned from a remote truck. Surprisingly good sounding.

Rooting through a box of audio "junk" from years ago revealed my old Shure VST-V, less stylus. So I picked up a Jico SAS for it. Haven't had a chance to set it up yet, but soon, soon!

Most of my gear was bought new in the 70's and 80's, so it's fun to have new toys to play with!
 
After reading lots of very positive reviews and a clearance sale I bought an Emotiva UPA-2 back in October to take the place of my trusty Dynaco ST-150. I am THOROUGHLY HAPPY! Now, I just finished recapping and upgrading the caps in the Dynaco. I haven't had the time to A/B the two. But the Dyna has always kicked ass. I added the Dyna to my living room setup bring driven by an old Marantz 2235. Definitely an improvement in the living room.

Now I also just finished upgrading the caps in my Sony SSU-3000 Towers and I picked up a bunch of clarity and gain in the mids and highs so much so that I had to back down the crossove level controls on the mids & highs to rebalance them. But talk about breathing new life into my old system...Sonic nirvana! I am rediscovering all my music as if hearing it for the first time. Great, deep and wide soundstage. Allison Krauss sounds like she is standing right there in the room!
