Where Are You Going On Record Store Day?

These two stores are just a few blocks away from each other on Lighthouse, Monterey, CA.

Those pics bring back fond memories. There used to be shops like that all over north OC. I remember there was one street you could walk down and hit 4 record shops just like those. I kid you not! All gone now.:tears:

Finders Records in Bowling Green. We used to have a location here in Findlay until it flooded and they never re-opened it. I travel a lot and Finders is the best record-cd store I've ever been in, selection is amazing (especially for CD).

Soundchasers less than a mile from the house- listed as a participating. Probably will check out Last Exit in Kent as well - not listed but my favorite record store. Dunno whether it will be loud, crowded or whatnot. Should be fun and interesting to check out the specials.

About 6 weeks ago my go-to local record store, Chester County Books & Music closed their doors.

Some great news was delivered to my Inbox yesterday! The former managers, Jason & Eryn, are going to have a new store of their own open in time for RSD 2013.

The name of their store is Electric Avenue Music and it's not far from where CCB&M was in West Chester, just two minutes down the road in fact.

I can't wait to help them celebrate their opening!

Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis. Sadly though this is the first record store day I can actually go to, instead of going on Sunday, and their is less this year I want that every other year in the past.

I'll be visiting Hideaway Music in the Chestnut Hill section of Phila. They are also hideaway Hi-Fi and sell vintage gear. Although I'm not into vintage, I'll look and see what they have.

I am going to Park Ave CDs in Winter Park,FL they have an amazing turn out each year and order everything that is made available for Record Store Day.

I talked to my local shop this weekend, they placed an order for over 7000 RSD titles. It will be interesting to see how much they actually get. The RSD list is now over 400 titles.
