Which Marantz Did You Play Today?

Had to pull my 4060 out today , the Superdcope tuner Stereo lamp went dark . Both were repalced by a Vector Research Int-Amp / Tuner combo that needed testing out .


Missed the Marantz from the git . The VR is sweet but just nor as "sweeet" .

Just finished cleaning up, replacing fuses, lights, etc. on my recently acquired 2252B (my first ever piece of vintage SS gear). Did some testing tonight and got so caught up in the music I didn't even finish putting it all back together! Next thing I knew I had cracked a beer and was listening to music for a few hours.

Lossless files wirelessly streamed from a Mac Mini via Airport Express to this receiver, remote controlled by an iPhone 4 sounds great, and nice to get access to my full digital music collection down here on my new basement system.

well this morning i am working but this afternoon i will be listening to my JBL L100's hooked up to my 250 amp (My newly recapped and restored 250),3800 pre and maybe FM on the 120
This weekend I'll set the other system up with the 2385:thmbsp:

Just had the amp restored except the meters as they are hard to find. I did get an email from that auction sight from a guy that says he has 2 NOS but after the expense of the restoration and the fact I kinda forgot to tell my wife about it. :nono:
So I guess I'm either gonna have to pass on the new meters or it's really gonna cost me LOL
