"Dynaco speakers were designed using Seas drivers, and imported to the USA under the Dynaco name. Interestingly the earliest A-25's used ScanSpeak Drivers and had the Aperiodic Port above the Tweeter, but this was soon changed to the widely seen Seas Drivers and the port under the woofer."

I noticed that the port is under my Woofer. Does that guarantee they are Seas drivers? It doesn't really matter to me but I had listed my A25's for sale and a prospective buyer wanted to know if they were the seas drivers and only wanted them if they were. In the end I decided not to sell them and just hang on to them. But curiosity has me wondering if they are Seas or scanspeak.
I'll post a pic tonight.
I wouldn't guarantee that they are original... parts being replaced seem like a fairly common practice with the A-25s. Some folks put the Morel MDT20 tweeters in as an upgrade. Pulling the units and looking up the code printed on the back, and/or looking at the woofer rubber surround can yield a number that may be traceable on the interwebs!
The speaker codes can be found here: http://www.webervst.com/morecode.html I do believe they are accurate. Hope this helps OOps... no seas or scanspeak there... sorry!
I'll have a set of A25s apart shortly, I'll post photographs of the drivers. These are bottom port cabinets (apparently the later style of cabinet) and I believe the drivers are original but cannot be sure of that. Earlier this week I posted some similar questions about driver manufacturers and cabinet styles and Dynacophil replied with a seemingly knowledgable post... here's the short thread.
