Greetings from Nawlins,

Many tuners have passed thru in the last couple of weeks. Started off with a ST-6A, a TU-717, a Crown FM2, a Onkyo 9090, and currently a TU-9900. Sadly I had to hang up NPR on WWNO many moons ago as they cut most of the great music syndication. Like Pipe Dreams, etc and have flipped to political talk. So now it's a few locally produced weekend Jazz shows and HOS on Sun evening. Otherwise local college WTUL has after a lifetime installed a real 1kw transmitter and tower. Which has suddenly relieved me of 40yrs of attempting to improve reception. Which is the real reason for the new auditions of the flock. Now I nolonger need to run a powered antenna which has lowered the noise floor to reasonable levels. So remarkably the FM scene here at the moment is improving. Yay!
