Who's listening with headphones tonight? To what?

All evenings YT videos are only headphone listened to, can`t stand this HP slimline laptop`s very crappy speakers, so I use my over 35 yr. old Sennheiser HD 540 closed ear piece headphones.
Other then this application, all other stereo sourced reproduced sounds are via the system`s speakers.

When most of the world had gone to 4-track studio recording, England's Parlophone records were still recording in 2-track. This means the first several of the Beatles' albums were in dual-mono, with all the instruments in one channel and all the vocals and lead guitar solos in the other track, which certainly sounds unnatural.
New and ever-improving software can now separate each instrument into separate tracks and even split vocals into lead and background. This allows a proper stereo mix, and the fans are far better at using the technology than the studios are!

My harman/kardon soundsticks do a pretty good job on my computer.

Im not sure Yamaha wouldve revived the technology without vintage fans like wualta.

My HP-2 is early production because square holes:
