I didn't take a picture of the graph. It looked just like the one from Airplay though, signal up to 22kHz, not stoping at 17kHz.
I was more focused on why I could not get the Panasonic DAT to lock on the digital out signal.
Ozzy's new album was being played, which is labeled UltraHD when I look at it on my phone now, but I was just getting Redbook CD. I do have the App set to "best available" though, and not forced to Ultra. In hind sight I should have switched that over to see if I could get actual High Res. from it over Ethernet.
After a fair bit of auditioning now these are my conclusions - in no particular order:
When using AMHD I get 320K through wi-fi, but can get CD quality through Airplay or Ethernet. Bluetooth is a distant last place. I use the native AMHD app for Airplay, and Audio Pro or Muzo (with the spinning disc) for 320K wi-fi.
When using Qoboz, Audio Pro, Muzo, and mconnect will stream CD quality and Hi-res to the Keiid. They sound significantly better than any of the AMHD streams. I thought that Airplay & AMHD would be similar to Qobuz and Audio pro, but they are not for reasons I can't explain.
Everything got better when I used the digital out from the Keiid into the M Audio 24/96 - using it as the DAC. I wanted to try the Panasonic's DAC, but it would not lock to the Keiid.
However, the best sound I got through all my tests was to stream from mconnect to my CCA, and sending the CCA's digital out into the Panasonic DAT for use as a DAC.
The Panasonic will only do 44.1k and 48k however, so I can't lock on the high res digital out from the CCA, though Mconnect indicates it's being sent and received by the CCA.
