Without the wife what would stop u

Well, knowing my habits when single... not a heck of a lot but money and space... :) As it is, I'm starting to slowly dive off the edge...

Without the beloved lifemate, I would have the main system in the family room, with no television near it. And the speakers would be Patricians or K-horns.

Aside from that, not really much would change. I'd probably still be hoardi... er, collecting, and filling the basement up with "treasures".

I am married. I have a main-rig, one for the garage, one for my listening room, one for the back deck, and of course a HT setup. Most of the stuff is vintage gear and although some pieces have been a little pricey, I have also scored some gear for a reasonable amount. I always look for new additions, but the wife is a little more than irritated by my obsession. I now only buy it if it is something I really want. Last week I scored a Marantz 6300 TT in full working order and not bad cosmetically. Again, if it's something I really want then I just bring it home and take the ass-whipping. Hey, we've been together for 27 years so I don't think the marriage will end over some gear :D If I were single, who knows :scratch2:
