Worst Albums Ever Bought

"Miss Morgana King"

classified as Female Vocals - Jazz

Had the Army used this one, Noreiga woulda surrendered by track 3......

Claire Torrey. She is voice on Pink Floyds "DSOM" The Great Gig in the Sky. Bought a CD off of Amazon thinking there might be some similar, maybe jazzy stuff. WRONG It is mostly 60ish songs of commercials. Boy was I wrong.

Any Yoko Ono stuff: The more famous, the higher the ear pain. No wonder the rest of the Beatles hated her...:tears:

Sorry, Yoko Ono is ineligible as she defines audio agony and is in class a by herself.

Anyone ever get sucked into Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music"???

And I'm having a hard time with Zappa. I like lots of his music, but find all his little verbal jabs and skits annoying.
He needs to take his own advice and "Shut Up and Play your Guitar"

Were there not samples of the songs to listen to before you bought on Amazon?

Most times, there are. But not always.

Anyone ever heard of this? Metal Machine Music, by Lou Reed. He did a couple of great albums with Velvet Underground, but this solo work from the 70s is horrible. An entire album of noise. Nothing that could even remotely be called music. Just layers of distortion and feedback. It's like he was insulting anyone who would acutally buy it. Totally unlistenable.

Metal Machine Music was released by Lou in order to fulfill his contract with the label he was on. He himself does not think highly of it and has stated that it was created for contractual purposes.

I was just about to throw up Metal Machine Music.
Lou Reed locked in a room for 16 hours with lots of H. That gets you metal machine music.
The cover had led lots of people to believe they were gettin a variation of sorts of Rock And Roll Animal. Huge let down for many people. Can go for good money on auction though.

Most of Lou's music from the 70's was quite good. He took the velvets music to a whole new level with RnR Animal and Lou Reed Live. Which were both great sounding albums.

To name a few Transformer with bowie's influence was a great album from start to finish. As was RnR Animal. Sally Cant dance was also a good album. And same for RnR Heart.
