Would a Shure M75 stylus fit a M44 cartridge body?

So I have this Shure M44MG body that I found in the driveway (don´t ask...).
I have a couple of M75 stylus in the drawer. Would any of these fit the m44 for a test run?

I admire your will power for resisting the urge. As long as you don't have to force the stylus in, it should be okay. If you find the least bit of resistance, stop and pull it out before something breaks.

I was under the impression the N44 stylus would fit an M75 body, but, the N75 would not fit an M44. No first hand experience, though.

Not correctly. Different VTA/SRA for a M 44. M 75 fits M 91 though fine, and also fits V 15 Type II or Type II improved.

It can be done easily enough, and sounds very good. You have to shim the nose down.
