Pics like this make me feel prematurely senile. You know, the drooling thing  ...

Sure would like to hear those (let alone own them)!

I'm probably the only dissenter, but these are just way over the top for me. I'm sure they sound fantastic, but the looks just don't float my boat. If I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd be looking at a JBL Paragon system instead. Or more realistically, I'll settle for a pair of Klipschorns or Belle Klipsches.

K, My first thought.
Even in FL those are some ugly curtains. Well it was a front shot taken in a sunroom. Then, I saw the rest of the pics. Nice, though corrosive ocean air will plsy havic with more than just the fittings, I know I'm a downer this morning,I'll try to cheer up!

No, you're not.

I'd like to hear them, but I wouldn't want to live with them. As a woodworker I'd love to build them. Those would surely twist the needle right off of the WAF meter. My wife thinks my NHTs are too big. (Curses be to those damn little Bose cubes and a pox on all ears who think they sound good :D) Come to think of it I'll save the link to show her the pix the next time she brings those up. Might come in useful when I finally find a pair of DQ-10s strays to bring home.

They would be interesting to hear for sure. The guy has been building those 1505B horns for a while. I watch his feedback, and don't see him selling them real often. They are sweet looking, but I wonder what they sound like compared to an actual 1505.

Interesting to see he has started these new boxes. I'm betting they drop down pretty damn low...

If you're into the visual aspects, they're awesome.

Woodworking/cabinet skills................. excellent.

In regard to sonics, price, and the seller's claims........... a whole lotta hooey.

That's a terribly poorly designed mid-bass horn that has a 10db dropout between 200-300hz.

A claim of 28hz usable response from an unbraced horn falling far short of the dimensions required by any proven horn theory is totally absurd.

Just my condensed .02 y'all understand.....................

There's just something about them a little too organic & menacing for my taste.....

OMG! imagine some serious custom paint............... maybe the king crimson cover, or the shark from jaws.:scratch2:

How do you think those 1505 horns would compare to the real thing Bowtie? I've really liked the looks of them, but just can't figure out if they would sound anything like they should.
