Write a Limerick

From Roger Russell's website:

A TV repair girl named Misty
Made servicing really quite nifty.
She could handle hot tubes
While exposing her boobs,
And was Miss Horizontal Hold 1950.

An avid DX'er named Crumb
Said "using tubes is often quite dumb.
I played the radio all night
And now they don't light
In fact, I get nothing but hum."

There once was a man from Deering
Who had the most incredible hearing.
He could pick up sounds
That were way out of bounds
Or ones that were truly endearing.

When testing his speaker for power
And without regard for the hour
He plugged it in the wall
And caused plaster to fall
And most of the neighbors to cower

A tube nut by the name of Glen
When asked of his divorce from Gwen
Said "a matched set of tubes
Is better than boobs
Or at least I thought it was then."

There was a man named Able
Who worshiped his speaker cable.
He ran it on the floor
And then over the door
But tripped and fell on the table.

A tube hoarder named Ben
Kept a closet of spares in his den
But when he opened the door
They fell on the floor
And imploded, some now and some then.

Heard once (not mine):

There once was a rabbi from Peru
Who was mainly attempting to screw
His wife said, Oy vey
If you keep up this way
The Messiah will come before you.

At a truck stop in upper McCarren
I stood there a few minutes starin'
Heather made coffee
My refill was free
From points that I redeemed with Daren

That was a hard one and I had to lie about the cashier's name. Heather who made the coffee also rang it up.
