Write a Limerick

Let us consider the Crown
It might be the best amp in town
Not costing a bank
And built like a tank
It gives one no reason to frown.

I've heard all the raves and the rants
But still love the sound of Marantz
With speakers that reach
One hundred pounds each
It gives me a twitch in the pants

Move Magnepans without a tractor.
You won't find a speaker compactor.
But they take lots of space
In any room at your place.
And need your wife's approval factor.

Pete would really have liked to participate in your thread, Bob. Perhaps I will dig out some more of his Limericks from time to time - when it is convenient to you folks...

Just a friendly reminder of the rules for constructing a limerick.

'A kind of humorous verse of five lines, in which the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines, which are shorter, form a rhymed couplet."

As Teach says, "Carry on."
