Write a Limerick

Just a friendly reminder of the rules for constructing a limerick.

'A kind of humorous verse of five lines, in which the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines, which are shorter, form a rhymed couplet."

As Teach says, "Carry on."

OK, let's see if Splat can push these rules to the breaking point, or at least to the point of their being filled in.
If yawl like it, we can get down, party down, break out the booze, dance, sing, and generally be...chillin.

"Event heaven sent, not remotely like Lent,
Though to those who partook it was great,
Took place in the right time.
The food was sublime,
And in two months I'll have paid of my bar slate."

There once was teacher named Stuckey
He was very lucky
His kids brought him Jelly Beans
But he was very mean
So went into the hall
And ate them all

The first mate, O'Higgins
He said he had a big 'un
Wrapped it fast
Around the mast
And used the rest for rigging!
