Ime, the surrounds on those newer woofers weren't inverted, though they were still placed behind the lip of the cone.

What im trying to say is this. I think they are the early woofers with part of the ring removed and a new surround installed like the later woofers. (facing out) Take a closer look at em. :thmbsp: There is also a edge the faces out on those woofers like the early ones. Later ones were flat and smooth.

I may be wrong they just look wierd to me.

The smaller Advents were 4 ohm and did not heve a switch on the back. at least the set I have are that way. The also have the spitball dust caps.

This is a combination of first gen. large advent, with the masonite woofers gone and the newer large Advent woofer installed. I have both models.

As far as the surrounds, Newer woofers roll out older ones roll in.
