Yamaha A-6a / A-760II No power

Thanks for the advice sparkplug! Would you happen to know what tuner went with this model? I think the cassette deck is the k-5 or something in that range? Would you happen to know if there is a turntable? I couldn’t find the catalog.

I thought so but wasn’t sure … supply voltages don’t just drift off by several volts unless there’s a problem. :thumbsup:

Regarding the cassette deck or turntable, I’m not very well-versed in Yamaha products, but there are those around here who live and breath Yamaha, hopefully they’ll chime in.

Personally, I use a Sony cassette deck (TC-K7 ll), it’s a stellar unit. For tuner, I use a Technics SH-S6, a superb unit.

Thanks for the great link, a very detailed description of your amp’s repair. LOL, the title reads “Asleep or awake, A-760ll” .
