If it is a standard Ceramic Cap, why the Black Dot and the "M" instead of it's value?By the way the only marking on them is an "M" printed on the side
Your guess is as good as mine. They ran out of red and blue paint..why the Black Dot

Another tolerance code "J " 5%"J"?
I guess you have never seen these black topped ceramic caps in any other Yamaha equipment?Another tolerance code "J " 5%
Sorry I am working on the Tone Board, I just saw the same cap (Black Top) in this post and didn't pay close attention that the Board was the Power Supply.C227/228 10pf @ 500v ceramic disk.. According to Hoyle..
Probably have . But I don't pay them much attention if there is nothing wrong with them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Come to think of it. The only ceramic cap I have ever replaced was due to the glue corrosion of the leads.I guess you have never seen these black topped ceramic caps in any other Yamaha equipment?
I didn't catch all those to be MOX. I got too confident and put the top and knobs back on, I will have to pull them back off to gain access to the resistor.Looks like R407 fusible is " open "..
