Enables the power - on muting relay circuit. ( M1 & M2 ) Disassemble and clean the slide switch portion of the on-off switch.

Also the power switch doesn't change power to the PS Board (On/Off). It is always on. The only thing the power switch changes is the power light On/Off.

The switch appears to be held together with two rivets, am I seeing that correct?

Maybe 4-6 small prongs on the underside need to be bent out to remove the slide switch from the mechanical lever.

The Red and White AC wires are soldered together at the same same exact point on the switch. So how can that switch the AC On/Off?

Input AC wires to the transformer looks to be brown and gray. You going to have to post a better photo than those in post 46 and 47.

If white and red is tied together the switch is by-passed.
