Yamaha MX-2000 on the bay, I can't stand it

:guitar:Sweet! Can't think if a better way to spend the big five-oh :)
Have a great time and please think of me when they're playing The Camera Eye.

Happy birthday!

A poster a few pages back made a couple errors that I'll correct.
The MX-2000 does infact actually employ full time active error correction circuitry like the MX-10000, which if fed off the FET input stage and directly connected to the output side of the power stage at the speaker terminals and helps to correct distortion naturally generated by the power amp stage and output coil.
The MX-2000 does not use a single output power mosfet as stated, but rather 8 Mosfets per channel in a high bias configuration, and back a bit further we have a bipolar current mirror. Bias can't be too low, its in full Class A until high power and it uses 123W sitting idle without music! I guess its the old addage, can't always believe what we read on the net.

Amen to that.

Along with:

Can't believe what one reads in the newspaper.

Can't believe what one sees on the television.

Can't believe what one hears on the radio.

and so-on.

There's BIG money in lying nowadays.......
