A little low , should be 5.4.IC4 p64 = 4.8V
Check out of circuit . Id also check C57 the 4700uf 5.5 volt cap. that voltages operating area is the same as the voltage going in. To close to SOA , might be leaking to GND pulling the voltage down .D4: c=4.79V, a=5.5V
Hopefully, this is it. I'll try to find a replacement. This one in ckt with the MM on diode test shows voltage going in both directions.
Page 12 of sm includes a truth table for IC7, high/low voltages on pins 9,10,11 are used to select the input sourceKeep in mind that IC7 is part of input selection, the pin voltages will depend on selected input, the mcu then "loads" the pin voltages to get wanted input. Try selecting PHONO input and see if the pin 11 voltage normalizes
LC6554H datasheet shows 4.5 - 5.5V operating voltage, so probably okIC4 p64 = 4.8V
Though I admit, these tables on pages 11,12,13 are full of sense and fascinatingly hypnotic, I feel so bummed out after 20 minutes staring at them. Throwback of NY Regents tests.Page 12 of sm includes a truth table for IC7, high/low voltages on pins 9,10,11 are used to select the input source

Do you think I can directly connect say CD input pin 14 to COM pin 3 on IC7,8 to see if the pre-amp picks it up and is in working condition?
I agree 4.8v is adequate for pin 64 supply, as long as it is steady DC.LC6554H datasheet shows 4.5 - 5.5V operating voltage, so probably ok
Do above for each input would be great or just for LD.Need to look at voltages coming in/going out of IC6 Pins 4,5,6,11,12,13
So pin 4 1.85V should be setting p13 high.p4 1.85v and p13 1.15v
No, not reluctant. IC6 is pretty small and the solder points are smaller too, not easy to get to them. Just being careful to avoid potential short in the ckt. I'll do that.On LD output regardless of input selection, yeah reads like IC7,8 but can't say until we see the orders coming out of the mcu, IC6...

You seem reluctant to do this
