I targeted the tuning at 30 Hz; the ports are a pair of 2" at ~9.5" long. That's for DC300 with the stock 1.65 cuft. internal volume. Dennis has recommended higher tunings for the Eminence drivers in HT use over at Tech Talk. I believe at one point I suggested where Deluxe might end up as optimum, around 35 - 40 Hz, as I recall, but I have not looked at it in detail since.
The T/S parameters are available for the various drivers and we know the internal cab volume(s); it'd be good if someone undertook a comprehensive box modeling study.... :yes:

Oh, Zilch.
I modified the Deltalite tweeter XO. Change the padding resistors to 4.7 Ohm series and 4 Ohm shunt and add 2.2uF in parallel with the series 4.7 Ohm resistor. That will flatten out the top octave nicely.
Another general question that I need answered before I proceed down a path I shouldn't...will these eWave designs sound similar to the pro PA speakers in an HT application? I was contemplating the deluxe version and then noticed a few JBL pro products that had similar features, already built for same or less price.
I like a project like the next guy, but if the speakers are going to perform similarly, I can move on to the next project.
Any thoughts?
